I love these leashes. There is no "break in" period where you need to soften these leads or treat them in any way (you know how sometimes leather is stiff and unworkable at the start - not these!) - these leads come soft and pliable! they are strong and well made - I use them on the Guardian Gear choke collars with the nylon entwined - and have wonderful control of my dogs. I have been purchasing leads here for years and they are all still in use - just always like to have a couple extra! I have always been 100% happy with these products.

I have been buying leather leads for years from this on-line store - and not because they wear out! I just keep adding more dogs! :-) The prices are reasonable and the quality excellent. I usually by the bullhide which is very soft! I hook these leads to choke collars (with the nylon webbing entwined), and the leads are very soft on my hands! VERY happy and satisfied always with their products. The leads I just got this week already feel like they are :broken in - no stiff leather that you have to work the stiffness out of over time - they come as if you have had them conditioned already!

Soft bullhide leash made to order--the best

I have owned large dogs all my life and only had leather leads appropriate to their size and discipline of the day. After my last Leonberger died, I started looking for a small dog. I have a 4 lb. chihuahua and the big leashes were of course too heavy for her. I could not find a leather lead in the stores that was appropriate to her size . I tried a thin nylon lead for a very short time but those leashes tend to be harsh to older hands.
I found this website, and asked several questions prior to ordering . A really nice couple who do not mind answering questions and helping you find the product that will best serve your needs.
I ordered a 1/4 inch black 6 foot bullhide leash. The leather is superb and the color is soft and pleasing. It is very soft and kind to my hands. You can also fold it down into a very small size as it is so flexible and supple. They also found a very nice small brass snap that does not pull on my small dog.
I have ordered several other leashes in various lengths. Love them all.

I have been breeding, judging, and showing dogs for 38 years, and judge to a high level in the UK in addition to be lucky enough to own 7 Champions, and in All my years this lead is the Best Quality that I have ever owned and totally surpassed my expectations.
