Supple Leather

I needed a lightweight, soft leash for obedience work with my Corgis. I wanted something that was not bulky and could easily be gathered. This lead arrived soft, and comfortable in one's hand, with an already broken in feel. I purchased two different lengths and am 100% satisfied.

Perfect leash for training.

The quarter inch bullhide leash is perfect for training and generally taking my dogs and to public areas. It is light and extremely supple, which makes it easy to hold and soft on the hands. I would probably use a half inch or three quarter inch lead for large breed dogs with limited training, though. But would still recommend this bullhide leash. The leather leash store has top quality products and the craftsmanship is exquisite. I use a number of their Chevron collars and leashes. I have been using their leashes and collars for about 4 years, and they are the best I have found.

Soft, good hand-feel

I bought this leash on recommendation from others, as I was looking for a soft leather leash I could use in the show ring. The top side of the hide is very soft but the bottom side was rough from where the hide had been split. I've been using a leather conditioner and towel rubbing it to break it in. My only complaint is the price. It's about twice as expensive as other leather leashes. I hope this one lasts.
